Credits & rights

This is an artist page. Almost nothing musical on it is owned by the artist alone — recordings belong to the labels that released them, artwork to whoever commissioned it, and the recorded sets to the promoters who filmed and uploaded them. This page says who is who.

If you hold rights in anything shown here and want it credited differently or taken down, message @georgeumbra on Instagram. It will be actioned quickly and without argument.

Labels

umbra's music has been released through:

Those two, and only those two. Other labels and stations have booked him or given him airtime, which is a different thing and is not claimed as a release here.

Per-release label attribution across the full catalogue is still being completed. Where a release is not individually credited, that is an omission rather than a claim, and corrections are welcome.

Release artwork

Cover art shown against each release is served from Spotify's image servers and is reproduced to identify the recording it belongs to. It is the property of the releasing label, the commissioning artist, or their licensors. It is not licensed for reuse from this site — if you want to use a cover, go to the label.

Video and mixes

The mixes on this site were filmed, recorded and published by the promoters and channels who booked the sets — PullUp Recordings, Flexout Audio, Cause & Effect, Clock Factory | BOG Bristol. They are embedded from YouTube and play on YouTube's terms, under the titles their own channels gave them. Thumbnails are YouTube's own. Nothing has been re-uploaded or re-hosted here, and the play count and the view stay with the original channel.

Streaming links

Each release links out to Spotify, SoundCloud, Deezer, YouTube Music and Apple Music. Exact links were resolved from Deezer's and Apple's public catalogue APIs; where no exact link is held the link opens a search on that service and says so. Nothing is streamed, proxied or hosted from this site.

Tracks on this site feature, among others, Teej, Spektiv, Killa P, PARA, SEMPA, Ellis Esco, Sydney Bryce, Undecentum, Conscience, MC Fokus and Limmz. Writing and performance credits on each recording belong to the artists involved and are as stated by the releasing label.

The name and the mark

The name umbra, the mark, and this site's written copy belong to the artist. The site's design and code are the work of AJWC Tech Consulting Ltd and are licensed to the artist for use as this site.

Takedown

Send a message with what you hold rights in, where it appears on the site, and what you would like done. No form and no lawyer required. Anything genuinely disputed comes down first and gets discussed afterwards.
